Hi, I'm Pappy!
It all started when…
Born and raised in Katonah-Lewisboro, I’ve stored a lifetime of some of the fondest memories a young child and teen could ask for. As I became an adult and moved on from my hometown, it was always an aspiration of mine to be able to contribute to the community that helped mold me into the adult I am today. Along with being a Certified Physical Education Teacher, I’m also a proud life-long pet owner. Some of my best memories growing up begin in grade school, watching my cats (Jasper & Stinky) run about the neighborhood from yard to yard playing. Then as a teenager, loving and caring for our dogs (Chance & Molly), exploring the quiet streets of Goldens Bridge and Purdy’s NY. I knew from a young age that I just simply loved animals.
Making a Difference
So it didn’t take long to realize Pappy Paws Pet Care would be the perfect avenue of passion for me to make a difference. So many of us don’t just see our beloved furry as simply a “pet," but rather a true member of our family! Therefore, we want so many of the same things for them as we do our human family members. Love, support, care, guidance, attention, and healthy foods are vital to a long and stable life. My parents always professed to me to pursue what you love, love your work, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life. So I’m trying to live by those words!
Part of the Community
I personally understand the anxiety that may arise from letting someone new into your home to either care for a loved furry, and/or look after your home. As a respected teacher/coach and member among the Katonah-Lewisboro, North Salem, Valhalla and Pleasantville School Districts, throughout my teaching career, you can rest assured your pet is getting the absolute best care possible from a highly trustworthy, educated, responsible and experienced pet owner. My background checks are always current and extensive, as I currently work part-time for the North Salem Central School District as a substitute teacher.
