Policies
Payment/Cancellation Policy:

Payment is required either before, or no later than 48 hours after completion of service (after 48 hours penalties can be incurred). Scheduled visits require 24 hours’ notice for cancellation otherwise payment is required. If schools are closed due to a storm and we’re informed before 9 am that day, payment will not be required. In extreme weather conditions, dog walks and house visits will be a duration that the dog walker/pet sitter feels is safe for the pet and/or pet sitter. All dogs are to be exercised either on a leash, in a fenced-in area or within boundaries of an electric fence. Electric fence equipment is the responsibility of the pet owner and must be working properly. Batteries need to be in working order and the dog is trained to obey the boundaries. All collars and leashes are the pet owners responsibility to be in working order. If pets are to be exercised off-leash in an area with no fence or electric fence, I understand that the dog walkers insurance does not cover accident, injury or damage to the pet or walker as a result of a pet being off-leash and I assume all responsibility.

Dangerous/Aggressive Animals:

We believe that every animal deserves unconditional love! However, not all dogs are appropriate candidates for in-home pet care. Some dogs are overly territorial and can become dangerous when strangers enter their homes. If your dog has a history of biting or attacking persons entering your home, kenneling may be a safer and more appropriate choice. The temperament of each animal, regardless of prior history, will be evaluated at the initial assessment. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on that basis. Please inform us ahead of time if you have any doubts about your furry friends ability to deal with strangers.

Household and Pet Supplies:

Please leave the appropriate amount for us to access. If extra supplies are needed during your absence, we will purchase them and we will charge a $15 errand fee, reimbursement is required immediately upon return.
